OUR VESSELS

OUR VESSELS

Explorer H1 and Explorer H2 are two 100% green hydrogen-powered vessels with zero carbon emissions, designed to function as advanced laboratories for studying the biomes of the 105,000 km of the Amazon basin's river network and the 7,491 km of Brazil’s marine coastline.

JAQ h1

The JAQ H1, measuring 36 meters in length, is equipped with a power generation system powered by a low-carbon hydrogen fuel cell by GWM Hydrogen. All the onboard hospitality, which includes lighting, air conditioning, kitchen, and onboard services, will be exclusively supplied by this clean and efficient system.

JAQ h2

The Explorer H2 is a 50m vessel primarily dedicated to supporting diving operations, ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) handling, and hydrographic and oceanographic data collection at depths of up to 300 meters.

OUR VESSELS

OUR VESSELS

Fase 1 (2025)

Fase 2 (2026)

Propulsão híbrida pelos rios e costas do Brasil

O JAQ H1 ganha movimento.

Fase 3 (2027)

JAQ Green Hydrogen: Brazil’s Contribution to Combating Climate Change

JAQ Apoio Marítimo EBN, founded in 2021, was created with the mission to develop innovative technological solutions to decarbonize navigation.

More than just replacing fossil fuels with clean energy sources, JAQ aims to apply its products to initiatives that promote environmental education and the preservation of Brazil’s marine and river biomes.

The project was envisioned by Ernani Paciornik—founder of Grupo Náutica and the Boat Show, co-founder of the SOS Mata Atlântica project, and creator of the "Only throw in the water what the fish can eat" campaign in partnership with cartoonist Ziraldo. JAQ carries a unique combination of solid business expertise, deep knowledge of the nautical market, and a genuine commitment to environmental preservation.

To build the Explorer H1 and Explorer H2, JAQ partnered with Itaipu Parquetec, the most advanced park for sustainable technology solutions and energy transition, with over a decade of experience in green hydrogen production.
